Chartered in 1938, Carpenters Local 1281 is the largest UBC Local in Alaska. Local 1281 services the areas of Southcentral, Southeast, and partial Southwest Alaska, south of the 63rd parallel and is located in Anchorage. Our members perform every aspect of the trade working as commercial carpenters, residential carpenters, interior and exterior systems carpenters, lathers & drywallers, cabinet makers, finish carpenters, millwrights, and welders.
